Green Party holds lively discussion of Heraclitus11.18.10

Meeting in Chinatown for dinner on November 13, Green Party of Philadelphia (GPOP) activists had a sumptuous feast and a refreshing discussion of Heraclitus, the Greek philosopher. Green Party Membership Secretary Michael Nance, a PHD candidate in philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania, told the 30 activists, “Heraclitus was wrong!” Others in the audience disagreed vigorously.

Green Party Meeting, 11/30, 7:00 pm

At the next meeting of the Green Party of Philadelphia (GPOP),  the membership will harness the new energy generated by the General Election. Meet the new, young GPOP leadership and help them work for single-payer healthcare, an end to the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq and electoral reform. Greens will mobilize to achieve dedicated funding for SEPTA. Registered Greens cannot miss this meeting! Neighbors who want to meet some real Greens may attend to see what the Green Party is all about.
