Feb meeting canceled due to snow; conference call instead02.24.10

Due to the ongoing snow storm,  and the latest news that the heaviest accumulation will begin tonight, we have decided to cancel tonight’s in-person GPOP Meeting.  However, due to pressing business, we are holding a conference call instead.  Any interested Green can rsvp to to get conference call details.

Agenda will include:

- report back from GPPA State Convention

- updates on Hugh Giordano’s campaign for State Rep.

- proposal to protest EPA on Earth Day due to reckless Marcellus Shale permitting

Our next regularly scheduled Membership Meeting will be Thursday, March 25.

Green Party Nominates Hugh Giordano for 194th State Rep.

Giordano to focus on working families

Monroeville, PA – This weekend, the Green Party of Pennsylvania approved the nomination of Roxborough resident Hugh Giordano to be the party’s contender for State Representative in the 194th District.  The District is currently served by Kathy Manderino who announced her retirement in December.
