| GPPA Endorsement of Congressional Candidate

On January 23,2006 Green Party of Philadelphia endorsed Dave Baker for
the 2nd Congressional District in western Philadelphia and Cheltenham
Township in Montgomery County.
Baker, formerly Secretary of the Green Party of Pennsylvania (GPPA),
will have his formal campaign Kickoff at the GPPA state convention on
Saturday, February 25 after the key note speaker, Michael Berg.
Afterwards, there will be a room to meet both Baker and Berg. A news
conference will be scheduled after the convention for all Philadelphia
candidates.
In late March, the field program kickoff will occur to gather
signatures and petition for the party's ballot access. The state party
will have to gather over 100,000 signatures to keep its status as a
minor political body. This is over 98,000 more signatures than either
the Democrats or Republicans would need to gather.
